There are currently three additional fees applicable to electric customers:
Fuel Cost Adjustment Factor (FCAF)
The FCAF is a charge per KWH that is used to adjust Azusa's electric rates for the actual cost of purchasing and generating electric power and energy to serve Azusa's customers. The FCAF may be either positive or negative to reflect actual and projected changes in power costs. It is calculated at the current rate per KWH. The current rate for the third quarter of 2009 is .0000.
State Surcharge Tax
This tax is mandated by the State of California. It is calculated at $0.00022 per KWH.
State Public Benefit Program Charge
This charge is mandated by AB1890 and is to be used for public benefits programs. The cost is calculated at $0.00263 per KWH.
